Mountain activities from Spring to Autumn
Are you a nature, sport and adventure lover?
The many activities of the Saint Gervais Mont Blanc valley are offered to you. They provide adrenaline but also well-being for body and mind.
For walkers, the traditional hike offers unique views: many hikes for all levels with for example a 7 hour round trip hike from Bettex to the Mont-Joly Refuge. With a difference in altitude of 1150 metres, you will come across marmots, roe deer and maybe even chamois if you climb to the top. Try also the Col du Tricot from the village of Bionnassay (a charming village to discover) with the possibility to go around the Mont Vorassay for the most courageous. We also recommend the Jovet lakes walk (2194 metres) which starts from Notre Dame de la Gorge and whose landscapes will leave you speechless!
For the more experienced, a via ferrata over three sections is accessible from the Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc Thermal Park and starts in the Bonnant gorges. Footbridges, beams, monkey bridges and Nepalese bridges give you a thrill.
You want to discover the summits by taking a climbing guide, the "Nain Jaune" circuit is for you: Start at the cliff of La Duchère at Les Contamines, level 5B required. For a smoother start, opt for the Via Corda Alpinaat the Mottets rock in Chamonix.
About an hour and a half drive from Hameau du Renard Blanc, find out more about the Aravis mountain range in a very original way: canyoning! Do a series of abseils and discover crystal-clear pools in which to swim. You will be rewarded after a beautiful 45 minute climb and discover magnificent waterfalls! If you pay attention, you may even see salamanders and deer.
For high-flying enthusiasts, treat yourself to a paragliding experience, or a flight over Mont Blanc from a plane or helicopter.
Golfers can hit the ball at Mont d'Arbois or at the Club de Chamonix in a green setting!
Our concierge will be able to assist you in booking these services.
There are also two indoor tennis courts and 4 outdoor clay courts for year-round training and tournaments.
To relax, take a dip in the Saint Gervais swimming pool (indoor and outdoor baths)!
